Hyderabad cops providing sanitisers to everyone visiting police stations

Around 12,000 men in uniform are currently tackling the pandemic after six positive cases were detected. The patients are currently undergoing treatment at Gandhi Medical college hospital of the city.

In an attempt to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, the Hyderabad Police has put sanitisers and handwash in all the police stations.

Police have been deployed outside the hospital in which patients are being quarantined and isolated. The police is also helping in tracking those who have recently returned from foreign nations.

City police chief Ajani Kumar told India Today TV he had warned people who are indulging in black-marketing, and also asked everyone to work together.

“Don’t organise any rally, gathering against or in favour of any issue. This is the time to fight the virus. All leaders are expected to cooperate, else they will be booked,” the police chief said.

Similarly, Rachakonda and Cyberabad commissioner zones are also working closely with municipal and health authorities to curtail the spread of the virus as well as fake news.
